Dr. Parikh is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and earned his medical degree at Smt. N.H.L.M. Medical College, Ahmedabad, India. He completed his residency and GI fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, N.J. Dr. Parikh was formerly Chief Medical Resident at the VA Medical Center in East Orange, N.J., where he conducted published research into colon cancer screening among inner city patients.
